April is National Pet First Aid Awareness Month
What do you do in case of emergency regarding your pet? It can be a scary thing when your pet is in need of care. You should also seek vet care but you may need to act quickly.
Luckily there are a few things you can do:
Pet First Aid Kit - it’s always good to have one put together. You can always but one already stocked or put one together yourself. Here’s a link to a list of items. Now above Shadow did not have an emergency but had a tumor removed from his eye, however, having an inflatable neck collar around may not be a bad idea.
Take a pet first add class. I took one a few years ago and it was worth it for only $25.
Have emergency numbers handy for your vet or the emergency vet.
